Ingredients and technique

Unequivocal Neapolitan soul, flaunted with pride and that pinch of sweet life that has always characterized the small square of Sant’Angelo. We were saying, pezzogna. Some call it ‘pagello’, but all agree on the value of its meat. To season the dish, the chef opts for a light fish stock prepared with scraps, and skip the pezzogna bites with garlic and oil, then capers, olives and some tomatoes. Pacchero after pacchero, simplicity wins. Moreover, when the tradition offers such experiences, it would be crazy to twist the script.

Piazzetta di Sant’Angelo, atmosphere full of charm, crafty and regenerating. Dal Pescatore knows how to be informal, while giving off a great sense of taste. The value is everywhere, it does not create awe, rather warm hospitality. At all hours of the day. For decades it has been a reference point for gourmands, it is impossible not to mention the showcase of cakes, not only from Naples.
